I created a RAID-Z2 and shared using NFS. The drives on the galaxy are separated into 8 LV groups of RAID-0 reason behind this was because FreeNas would not see above 2tb I got tired of trying to figure out why so i decided to set this up the way I did.
I just installed the latest version from scratch 9.1.1 64bit on a PowerEdge 1850 with 2 xeon 2.8 8gb ram and a Qlogic QLA2342 FC Controller attached to a Rorke Galaxy-i with 16 400gb SATA drives.
I never had any issues with it until now. Hello, I have been using FreeNas for a couple of years now and have to say I love it.
